Mom guilt

I just had my baby on the 18th very traumatic birth but I haven't been sleeping neither has hubby I asked his sister to watch baby so we can rest but now I'm sitting here crying feeling guilty for not being able to watch her

Cry it out and know that you are doing your best in this phase which will pass soon. You need to take care of you so you can be back in mommy mode for baby.

Get your rest mommy! It takes a village! I had my little guy on the 16th and didn’t sleep the 4 days I was in the hospital. The amount of mental breakdowns I had was insane. She needs you and you need sleep to be able to function for her! A few hour nap will do everyone good.

Get the emotions out! But no regrets, I’ve had my Mom over multiple times since I’ve had my daughter so my husband and I could get some rest - even if it’s for a hour or 2.

Don’t feel guilty mama! You gotta do what’s best for yourself and the baby!

I completely understand why u feel that way, I would feel the same way, in fact I did when I had the nurses take my son to the nursery so I could get some sleep the night before we left the hospital. but u need to get ur rest so u can properly take care of ur baby, and it's a good thing that u have sum1 that u can watch her for a little bit so u can get some rest. ik u feel bad about it, but jus remember that u do need to take care of ur self to be able to properly take care of her
