Holistic practitioners

Are there any holistic doctors, nurses? Herbalists here? If so I would love to talk about the body’s ability to heal from many chronic illnesses

I would too!

Soon to be herbalist here … been practicing for a couple years not certified yet

@Jade wow that’s amazing are you self taught?

@Yasmina yes! And was raised around it heavy

I’m not but I’m always curious to learn more

@Jade oh wow yes I first started hearing about herbs from Dr Sebi years ago and then postpartum my body was totally depleted I felt extremely drained and I could not do anything so I took this blood tea blend that is burdock root, Mexican sarsaparilla, dandelion etc for 3 days and I felt like a new woman…I was hooked after that…but I went back to my old ways and now my diabetes had gotten worse last year but after making lots of changes my blood sugars are cut in half…now I have been detoxing with chaga mushrooms for heavy metals and I’m boiling some burdock root and dandelion root right now…I need a few more herbs and I want soursop leaves…what do you suggest for blood sugar control?

@Jade btw I lost 4 lbs of belly fat on the chaga mushroom tea

@Gabrielle you can start by doing labs and see if you are deficient in anything, for me it’s Vitamin D, magnesium and also iron…my blood cells tend to run small

@Yasmina milk thistle is good for lowering blood sugar, also it’s good if you deal with excess estrogen

@Yasmina my parents would have us take echinacea and rose hips over taking otc medication… my grandmother was really into mushroom tea… fungi is literally life so I’m glad chaga is doing that for you!

@Yasmina currently building my apothecary but I’d say keep marshmallow root, red raspberry leaf, red clover, and nettle to your intake really good for getting vitamins, chlorophyll, toning your womb and a whole lot more! Yes I heard of dr Sebi… we include quite a few things he advised

@Jade ok that’s awesome I never heard of those except chlorophyll…I was considering moringa for blood sugar support

@Jade I think I have enough estrogen 🐳🐳🐳🐳 lol but how do I know if it’s too much? I get chin hairs and I heard that’s hormonal imbalance? Can I get a blood test for that? I think it’s related to my diabetes because my sex drive is good
