@Louise how things work? Are you in uk? I am asking on behalf of a family friend whom child fell from bed and got unconscious. They took her to hospital and the hospital involved ss and they took their child away. Now they are fighting for their child.
Referrals to social services completely depend on the situation. How did she burn her hand? What sos she burn it on?
@Bella that sounds like there was a lot more at play If you present at a hospital and they can see it's genuinely an accident etc etc then they won't refer but if you keep turning up with things wrong or if serious harm has come to the child then a referral will probably happen Sounds like there was serious harm in the case you mentioned so that's why they have gotten involved?
@Louise yes . The hospital said that child had blood clot behind eye. Parents said that the child has blood clot in eye since born. They did mention to hv but she said it’s normal for newborn babies. But then she fell down and all this happened.
Accidents happen no they do not just refer you to ss
