They usually make up their milk feeds overnight when they start weaning! New food is exciting lol xx

You shouldn’t be weaning at 6 months… that’s still their main source of nutrition. Maybe I’m not understanding the post?

@Lauryne My problem is she sleeps 12 hours so doesn’t feed at night, ah she literally loves her food lol! Xx

@Kami she isn’t quite 6 months old, shes a week off but my GP suggested it

Oh okay🤷🏾‍♀️ well I’m not going to argue with a professional lol. Good luck with the weaning love x

@Kami she’s never loved her milk see and wasn’t putting on a lot of weight but since having food she’s putting it on and loving it lol. I just worry because milk is there fluid to. Thank you x

@Kami I think she means weaning on to solid food not weaning her off milk x

@Evie yeah I did, she’s having both. And she isn’t on solids quite yet just the jars and pouches xx

I think it’s normal to drop some milk at the start! Eating food for the first time is quite the experience haha if she’s enjoying it she might’ve just forgot about milk a little bit, my girl had a dip but picked back up around 7 or 8 months to her normal amount of milk, I feel like their bodies need some time to get used to digesting the new foods too xx
