I'm just starting to try and do crib naps consistently, baby is 13 weeks. We started doing some over Christmas while my toddler was home from nursery, no way he'd sleep with her bouncing around. He's started to get a lot more sensitive to light and noise and I want to start working on him learning to fall asleep in the crib.
Safe sleep guidelines are that they have all sleep in the same room as you, including daytime naps, until 6 months old
I started yesterday my little boys 12 weeks if they will sleep in the same room as you i would keep them with you until 6 months but my little boy just would not sleep unless he was in a dark room which isnt practical in my living room i have a nanit camera with the breathing monitor tho i dont think I would do it if I didn’t x
Sometimes I’ll let my baby nap upstairs and have the monitor on (camera & sensor) & he’s 10 wks. Although he struggles to stay asleep unless contact.
