I am feeling similar love, you are not alone. Stairs feel impossible and are taking me three times as long to get up! I’m sleeping longer than ever but being more tired than ever. I can’t even load the dishwasher and I am showering every other day, when I used to be a twice a day shower girl!! Please don’t worry love. You’ve got this. Of course, talk to your health team about it to be sure!
Im in the same boat! I am not sure what I can use to substitute caffeine. Someone mentioned stretching more and water but doesn’t help if you’re already tired 😪
Thank you ladies! I’m sad you’re all tired too but relieved I’m not alone. I have 2 other kids and I’ve been feeling like such a horrible mom because I’m too tired to play with them like I should be! I’m really hoping that my energy turns back around. I’m nine weeks now. I was going to the doctor before getting pregnant trying to figure out what my pre-pregnancy fatigue was caused by and now that I’m pregnant it’s just gotten so much worse.
Honestly, if I didn’t get to work from home, I think I would’ve already lost my job because I don’t even have the energy to leave the house for necessary tasks like grocery shopping. I see so many other moms who seemingly have energy and I’m so envious because I feel like I’m half dead literally
I was feeling this way! Instead of trying to caffeinate my way through I started adding electrolytes to water & it’s made a big difference. I also added gentle movement (stretches/a few yoga poses) atleast once during the day. But that’s it, I can’t even think about moderate exercise lol
yes!! i’ve been told it’s normal and go easy on yourself mummy! you’re making a human.
@Alyse I was told to give myself some grace too.. even if it’s only a couple times you can use grocery delivery services to take one thing off your plate for that day
I have been shocked at how little I am able to function. I am in the same boat, thank goodness I work from home and most of my team have been traveling a lot for the holidays. I've been struggling with boredom and feeling pretty useless, but I have felt a little bit more energy come back this week. I will warn you to take it slow. The first day I felt energy I took it too far and ended up getting sick and having a terrible next day. So I'm trying to do maybe one extra task a day lol
I felt that way week 5! Like my body was working so hard to make this baby that I had no energy for myself. I felt like I could literally feel my blood supply increasing, because every time I stood up I'd get hot flashes in my face and got all red. I'm now 8 weeks along and I'm managing okay, but I'm definitely exhausted! I haven't shaved in like a month because I have no energy in the shower lol. On Monday I slept for 11 hours and still woke up tired. Just my experiences, not sure 🤷🏼♀️😅
