@Lauren It’s the worst feeling ever. It just happened so quickly that I couldn’t even react in time. I will check on her during the night and stuff but it’s just more me that’s the problem than her😔
Accidents happen, and honestly things like this happen. It probably won’t be the last fall or bump or anything else for that matter. But always remember you are there and you care for your baby and they will know that through your comfort. Honestly don’t blame yourself, our babies are growing, exploring and learning very quickly. Sometimes a little too quick. You’re doing great !
This happened to me at the weekend. My LO was on the bed and I turned just for a second to pick up her clothes off the floor then heard a thud. LO rolled off the bed and landed face down onto the rug and cried. I felt so so guilty and was upset all day for ‘letting it happen’ so I completely understand you. It was at a friends house and he reassured me that it happened to him with his LO and it happens all the time- lots of people experienced this scare. So grateful she was fine but I’ll be more careful from now on though!
Don’t worry hun, it happens to us all. Ours fell at 3 months and I’ll never forget it, felt the exact same. It’s awful but it’s ok 😘
Thank you all for making me feel a bit better! Just checked on her and she seems absolutely fine so hopefully it’s all good🥲
My baby didn't fall off the bed but I bumped his head on the car as I got him out and then another time his dad was passing him to me and banged his head on a slanted wall...came up with a small bruise and spoke to 111 and told me what to look out for. I think I cried longer than he did on both occasions as I felt so bad but honestly it happens to the best of us and the fact you feel so guilty shows how loved your little girl is ❤️
