Confused on milk/bottles

I may be the only one who’s confused here but what type of bottle are we supposed to be feeding our LOs cows milk in and how much are they supposed to be drinking in one day? My LO was never really a big formula drinker but since switching to cows milk, she drinks two 7oz bottles a day in a MAM bottle. I tried to offer her morning bottle in a straw cup and she just got confused and coughed it out and then didn’t want any, so the next day I continued with the MAM bottle. Is the idea that they eventually drop the morning and bedtime bottles and just not have any milk to drink??

I think some kids do continue to drink milk whether that’s at night, morning, meal times etc but it’s not a necessity so we’re just going with the flow as to what she wants, currently just doing a night time bottle, I think after 12 months meant to move away from bottle but we’re in no rush x

So my HV said we don't even have to give milk as long as their getting their calcium from their meals so breakfast cereal with milk, cheese and yogurts etc. I give my son milk in his tumtum straw cup and at night he has it in his mam bottle x

My little boy has a munchkin 360 cup of cold cows milk alongside his breakfast as a drink & then 6oz of warm cows milk in a tommee tippee baby bottle before bed so he can go to sleep.
