Financially back on feet

How do moms get back on feet financially if they want to separate from their partner? I honestly wish I could, it just seems so impossible. We have 3 young children (1y, 3y & 5y) which need my full attention. I'm the one having their full time care basically and I don't see how I'd be able to work AND look after them? I'm really at my wits ends with being under appreciated and undervalued. I left my education & career to look after us and now I'm financially stuck. And just being told "You can leave, go do whatever you want" Like why am I even here then? Advice from moms who did it? Who looks after your babies while you work? How did you juggle their needs on top of your job? I'm just sad 😔

I’ve not got direct experience with this but could you have a look into what support you’d be entitled to from the social services/ citizens advice? Could a family member help out in the interim with somewhere to stay until you figure it out xx

Definitely get advice from citizen advice bureau and job centre plus. If your in uk then you can apply for universal credit and child benefit. Universal credit will pay most of your rents and you won’t have to pay anything except gas electricity and water. You can apply for council tax exemption after your universal credit gets approved. Plus you will get money for yourself and for two of your children’s expenses which should cover your bills mostly and also have money to buy groceries and baby items. Obviously it will be difficult but with those benefits. You will live well and since your babies are young. They wouldn’t tell you to work as well. It’s only when all of them are 4+ years old and going to school is when universal credit tells you to look for jobs. Hopefully by then you will be settled
