We moved just before Christmas and seems to have gone pretty smoothly - we made sure we had our daughters stuff unpacked as a priority so she felt more at home quickly. Also spent quite a lot of time before we moved talking about moving and prepping her for the change, but putting it all in a positive light. (The Littlest Yak, Home is where the herd is was a helpful story book to relate conversations to!) We also got her involved in choosing new things for her room like curtains and light shade etc, so it gave her some control over the situation. We had a couple of nights of disturbed sleep when we first moved but she has settled in so well. I think at this age they are very adaptable 🤞🏻 Good luck!!

This sounds like us! We moved back in November. We had a doer upper as our last house and completed it when I was pregnant, so everything was perfect. This house now is the same, we have to do everything here, but it was an ideal location for school applications. We have made her room the priority and got it ready just before Christmas. She does say she misses the old house, but I think it’s because it wasn’t a bomb site 😂 when we ask her if she likes our new house, she says yes she does. So I think we will get there 🙈 x
