Anyone else fed up of people asking when baby will walk?

My daughter was 1 on 14th December and she’s still not walking or standing alone. She’s cruising along the furniture, basically running up and down holding onto the sofa, climbing up everywhere and standing if she’s holding onto something. She’ll walk with her Vtech walker but I still think we’re a long way off walking. I’m so sick of everyone asking and telling her to walk. It’s making me feel like I’m not doing enough to help her learn. She’s a very confident little girl, but I think she’s just happy doing what she’s doing now! Saying that, anything I can be doing to encourage her to be more confident with walking?

My LO is the exact same. She’s been so confident on her feet since she was 9 months we all thought she’d be walking long before turning 1 but nope. She just seems to loose all confidence when she realises she’s not holding anything 🙂🙂

Ours isn't walking and we thought she would as well before she was one. She loves holding our hands and walking with us but just drops to the floor if nothing is close enough to hold on too. She was 1 on Christmas morning xx

Hey I’m exactly the same mama ! My girls doing the same and I’ve just got to a point where I say “ she doesn’t need to be rushed. “ like, when did you start walking then ?! 😂 something that in the long run mean anything when you’re looking back on life. Doesn’t matter when those first steps come! Some children won’t even get those first steps :( due to medical conductions and such. I’m just so blessed she’s healthy and doing her best. The pressure is a lot and I completely feel you with this :/

Same here! She can stand up on her own but it's her confidence. She'll happily walk if I'm holding her hands and climb up/cruise but will she heck walk with her walker 🤣 she looks at me like, nah not doing that mum and stills herself down and crawls 🤣 I've tried not to worry but inknow she'll do it in her own time
