Screaming

Our 13 week old has suddenly started screaming when she is put down at bedtime, no matter how deep a sleep she appears to be in. She will not sleep in her crib. Please tell me we are not alone. We are so sleep deprived.

This is my life and currently now lol he’s screaming his little lungs out 😩 he’s been like this for few days and turned 14 weeks today I am exhausted!!!! I can’t keep sleeping with him in my arms 🥲 I’m paranoid and I can’t relax either I only managed 3 hour sleep last two nights!

@Aiysha I’m so worried this could carry on for weeks, I can’t see an end to it. To make things worse, I’ve got flu and I just can’t get the sleep I need to recover. I’ve never felt so unwell

My baby has never been a good sleeper but lately worse than ever 😭 My toddler has bad flu and is off nursery and I’m just not getting enough sleep to care for everybody and to stop myself getting sick! I could cry writing this 😭 You are not alone xx

@Stacy I am with you. Our toddler has had flu and now I’ve got it and I’m not being allowed any rest to recover. I am completely broken.

We went through a phase of this when our baby was 9/10 weeks, we could just not transfer him to the crib without him screaming. We had about 6 nights of only him sleeping on us, then a night where i managed to get him down for an hour at a time in his old moses by basically lying in the moses basket with him until he settled. Then he gradually built back up to being in the crib, although he is only now doing 2/3 hour stints of sleep rather than the five hours he would before It seemed to be triggered when he showed early signs of teething.

in this with you, will not sleep in moses basket or next2me at night. i try multiple times half the night, he wakes up instantly when transferred and cries and also won’t be put down awake but drowsy, will just cry too. i’m so sleep deprived. been like this for like a month now 🥲
