When did you “do the deed” for the first time after birth?

There is no minimum amount of time to wait to have sex now according to the NHS, the 6 weeks thing is no longer a thing!

Around 5 weeks when i stopped bleeding x

I haven't yet. I'm not on anything and secondly we haven't had the time yet 🤣 I had eclampsia so it was really bad. So don't want to risk doing anything but will need to go back on contraception soon

I have wanted to since about 4 weeks we just can't find the time 😂

This time round I waited 8 weeks. I had my 2nd baby in January 2024 and I had sec very early and ended up pregnant with my Baby girl who’s born in November 2024. 🥳. Xx

My baby is 8 weeks- I genuinely have no idea how to manage it- my baby is such a light sleeper, not to mention when he does sleep away from me in his basket all I want is sleep 😂 I’ve resigned myself to not getting laid until he sleeps through the night in his own room 😂 He’s also combi fed (inc breastfeeding through the night), so no passing him off to a grandparent 😂

12 weeks and counting...a baby that has to be held constantly in the day so the 11pm-5am he is sometimes in the cot we are buggered if we are losing those precious hours of sleep😂
