@Emma unfortunately my job doesn’t offer that or maternity leave
Oh no!! I’m so sorry; that must be tough. I know I’ve been struggling with motivation too!
Oh lord i was going to say go on early maternity then go on family leave
oh Yes! i’m glad im taking 30 days off before due date thank goodness i get leave for being in California
Yes I’m on my feet all day as a teacher and by an hour in the day, it hurts when I just move my legs back and forth to walk haha
Yessss we’re only 22 days into the year and I feel like I’ve already used so much PTO 🥴 and I work from home! Lol but it’s still so exhausting and I’m over it. Beyond ready to go on maternity leave. Debating using a week of PTO to start maternity leave a week earlier.
Getting to bed obnoxiously early seems to help me. I’m still driving into the city 5 days a week from the East Bay. Definitely stressed trying to wrap things up at work before my leave! Hydrate really well during the day. Read a physical book before bed. Unisom. Magnesium calm gummies. My go tos! Plus my pregnancy pillow
I’m a veterinary assistant and I really wish I could have taken off work since 6 weeks pregnant. It’s a hard job even when you’re not pregnant so it’s been kicking my ass. I’m 30 weeks now. I’m so exhausted and in pain all the time.
I don’t know how much your company offers but maybe sprinkle your PTO over the next few weeks until baby comes if possible! An extra day over the weekend can be such a game changer. Take the time you’re owed!!
