Narcissist Friends

Has anyone dealt with issues involving a narcissistic or envious friend? My friend bullied me throughout my pregnancy, constantly putting me down and trying to one-up me. She even referred to me as "The Pregnant Woman" in a mocking way, among other things. Now that my little one is here, even though I've cut contact, she still tries to message me. She's become obsessed with my baby, as if, in her eyes, "I beat her" by having a child. I've blocked her on everything, but my anxiety is at an all-time high. Has anyone else experienced something like this? How are you coping now?

I have had a similar situation and other than cutting them off it just takes time. It's always sad to say goodbye to a friendship even if it was one sided. It takes time to get over the feeling of always having to walk on egg shells and having your peace of mind stolen but you will get your peace back. Try doing things that bring you peace and help calm your anxiety. Enjoy your time with your LO and don't give them another thought.

I have had to create space for friends who act like that. Boundaries was a major part of relationships, friends or partner. Gave clear instructions on what was what. And still! Distance and no contact is great . But getting what u need to say out might feel better. I'm sorry I don't like bullies so me personally wouldn't feel right until I said my peace. Especially to a friend who needs to hear it. Say it ,write it,send a pigeon. U are in control of the situation. I'm not sure how long you guys was friends. But don't let anyone take away your voice. I'm a little blunt Especially when it comes to these narcs

Omg I know this all too well, I’m so sorry you dealt with this, blocking her was the best move you made, saying anything to her, you already know she’ll gaslight and invalidate you. Just keep her far far away.

@Jules✨️💛 didn't work, laughed and said I was crazy
