I know medication isn’t for everyone but I didn’t see a way out. It was so bad and I couldn’t live with how I was feeling so medication was my last resort and helped massively xx
I’m still on it now and will be for the foreseeable as I get scared to stop incase I go back to how I was and I like how controlled my anxiety is now, although I do have some wobbles it’s nowhere near as bad as what it was x
I also referred myself to nhs talking therapies ( cbt ) and that also helped massively xx
@Sophie my baby is 14 months old now, thank you for sharing what you have been through, glad to hear it is working for you, maybe its something i should consider too
I’ve always had anxiety but it got really bad after having my second. Have you recently had a baby? I had post partum anxiety. It’s not spoke about much but it very much a common thing and it really does hit you hard it’s horrible. I went on medication for it and it’s the best thing I ever done xx
