Head bumps

My little one is now crawling and trying to pull herself up. She's pretty steady most of the time, but sometimes she falls and we have hard floors. She does have a padded play mat but she doesn't stay on it now 🙈 I do put her in a play pen sometimes but she really doesn't like it so I only put her in there if I'm not watching her. But sometimes even if I'm watching her she'll fall if I can't get to her fast enough and she bumps her head. Does this happen to anyone else? Is there anything I can do to help?

Happens all the time, and it will happen to every child and … it will get worse 🫠😅💔 when they learn to walk and want to walk independently (eg no I don’t want to hold your hand) they will slip trip and fall outside too, bumped heads, bruised legs, bust noses and lips. It’s awful. But you’re not alone. If you’re anything like me, it’ll hurt your heart more than it hurts them. They do sell them like cushion backpacks with a head support but I can’t imagine my LO would want it on x

Happens to mine all the time, I've got hard floors too with a rug down and some foam mats in a little play area for her. But honestly, I don't really ever try and stop her from falling because it's essential for them to learn how not to fall, I juat kind of hover nearby or keep her away from corners etc. She's gotten really good at trying to stop her fall

Happens all the time now 😔 😟 but thats how they learn i guess.

It constant. My daughter has a small cut by one of her eyes from losing her balance and falling & I wasn’t able to get to her quick enough 🫠
