Show your support

Yes, there is a section in UC under report changes, select health and then update the info, they may ask for your GPs details and will ask if you are incapable to work or look for work because of this. Definitely is worth a mention as when it's time to return to work and you can't, they want to know the reason and if you document it in advance I guess it's better as extra support and benefit may kick in maybe ??

@Michelle i just feel bad for doing it like i shouldn’t tell them

I get it, but think what if you don't, then have to mention it down the line, they can request medical info from the GP, plus the benefits is they won't push you to work and you may have more entitlements?
