Is anyone else’s baby all of a sudden scared of things/places/people?
My little boy has started to cry if people go near him it’s mostly people he doesn’t know. Also this morning we went to soft play which we have been doing for months now and he normally really enjoys it and all of a sudden he is scared and clinging onto me and crying 😢 I know separation anxiety is common this age so I’m thinking it could be that?

We have the same. It's awkward when we are chilling at Tesco and some lovely old lady waves at him... Bottom lip comes out and he'll start screaming 🤣
My little girl has become terrified of felt flap books 😂🤦🏻♀️
Fear of strangers is part of the normal development of separation anxiety that babies have around this time. Can seem like a personality shift as your friendly trusting baby suddenly becomes more aware and fearful of surroundings xx
Yes! My LB is suddenly terrified of the Hokey Cokey 😂 and strangers etc. hope it’s just a phase

My little boy has been the same! Getting spooked by things he wouldn’t usually be bothered by, like people clapping or me hiding and playing peekaboo. I think it’s just their relationship and the way they perceive the world changing. It’s just a wee phase x
