How are you dressing your crawling and walking babies

How are you dressing your crawling babies in the winter . Ours is just sliding each time he gets on all fours and is just belly crawling instead. Could his clothes be causing him to slide ? We keep our house at 72 degrees and dress him in long shirts and long pants , with or without socks. And we have hardwood floors, except for his play area in living room and bedroom that has a mat

Probably! When my son’s knees are covered and he can’t get good traction, he also belly crawls. I keep my house at 74 and he wears a long sleeved onesie. If I put socks on, he rips them off lol but I try since it’s been so cold lately (Pittsburgh, PA). If he feels a little cold, I’ll put pants on him and try to keep him in carpeted areas 😆 or busy with toys

Idk maybe but we don’t have any carpet and he crawls fine. I would try him on carpet somewhere and see

I put her in a onesie and socks with grips on the bottom so she can still crawl around with no problem ! We keep our house warm for her.

You don’t usually need socks inside as long as it’s warm enough :) best way to tell if baby is cold is actually by feeling his or her chest rather than their feet or hands

Socks can make it harder to crawl because there’s no traction for the feet
