Nicu staff
I love nicu staff but this is my second nicu and second child and kept standing there telling me to talk to him, I prefer doing that when I’m with family or my first child is there or nicu staff aren’t staring at me and telling me to do it I don’t know it made patronised and demeaning. When I do talk to my baby I tend do it quieter
When my little boy is in the NICU I chose to speak to him quietly and preferred to do it when the staff weren’t there as I always felt like I was being watched. I made amazing friends with the nurses and they understood I just told them to let me spend time with him alone but always knew they were keeping an eye on us just incase they were needed xx
