When did you all get back in the gym (C-Section) and any ideas of affordable gym memberships in Mansfield/Grand Prairie?

I started around week 5, doing low impact indoor cycling. I only did it knowing I felt good and wouldn't do anything crazy.

I'm 4 weeks pp and My mom told me to wait until after my 6 week check up. I had vaginal birth though

C-section mama here! I was active pre pregnancy and throughout pregnancy I still waited until my 6 week appointment with my doctor to hear I was healing well. This is my first baby and he said I was fine to start back to working out and just start slow to gauge where my body is at

Thank yall. I have my 6wk check up on the 30th so I’m just trying to prepare myself and get my body back in shape 🤎

5 weeks post c section, I do just walking and deep core breathing

I started working with a pelvic floor pt at 4wks pp (I saw her during pregnancy, too), so she evaluated my core strength- I’ve started with breath work, cat/cows, thoracic mobility, heel slides & marches, hip bridges, supported squats, and pelvic tilts. Once I have my 6wk check with my midwives, then she’ll do an internal exam to evaluate my pelvic floor more thoroughly so I can get a better idea of any modifications I’ll need to do. Otherwise, I’ll be starting back up with Pvolve, which I did before & during pregnancy.
