Is your May Baby crawling?

My little girl is quite happy just rolling around everywhere and spinning on her tummy to change direction to get where she wants to go 😂

Literally only just happened in the last couple of days, my first crawled by 6 months but didn’t sit until he was almost a year old but my May baby has only just started crawling at 8 months but has been sitting for about the last month There’s huge variation so I wouldn’t worry at all, every baby develops at their own pace and they’ll get there when they get there 😊

@Artemis seeing your comment about your first made me feel good because my 8 month old is not sitting yet! He’s not crawling either

8 months, sitting up, but not crawling or anywhere near! His just happy sitting! 🤣

@Ragine we were worried that he wasn’t physically meeting his milestones, he didn’t really try walking until he was about 2 but he’s literally skyrocketed in the last 6 months in every department and we’ve even been told by his Nursery that he’s one of the top kids in all areas and they’re super impressed with his skills, he was telling them all about the planets in the solar system, naming them all and their colours, whether they were hot/cold and the literal order they are in from the Sun 😅 he’s just started singing a load of different Nursery rhymes and songs and he can have a pretty full conversation with you about all sorts and you can understand 90% of his sentences and words, it one day just kicked in so I’ve learned to be a bit more relaxed with my second and just let him do his own thing

He sort of scoots around and moves like a seal, i wouldn’t say he’s crawling yet but definitely soon😭

My may baby started almost crawling at about 5 months and sitting up at 7 months. Hes properly crawling and pulling himself up and its awful because he knows hes being naughty but when i say what are u doing he just laughs at me xx

My Son started ‘army crawling’ at 6 months absolutely hilarious and he was sooo quick! He’s since learnt how to crawl ‘properly’ he was 8 months at the beginning of jan and is now pulling himself up on absolute everything! also not every baby will crawl some completely skip that stage xx

My little girl is almost there she zombie crawls everywhere. Doesn’t try with her knees lol xx

My 8th May baby started crawling a little at the start of the month but has since started to do it more often now (I’d say it’s more like an army crawl really but wow can he still move he’s off) 😂 x

@Jessica this is what my son started with, army crawling and after a couple weeks he was flyingggg round the house 🤣 x

So my son is dragging himself across the floor with his arms and he does ‘swim’ and rolls

No he just army crawls atm! He's rocked onto his knees a few times now when he gets angry but that's it
