Daycare Adjustment
How long do I give my baby (3 month-old) to adjust to daycare? He goes 3 days a week and just completed his first week. 1 day was ok at pickup but the other 2 were hard. He was screaming one day at pickup while they were trying to feed him and had spit up everywhere. Today, he looked so pale, had purple around his eyes from not being able to sleep, and nearly has lost his voice. It just breaks my heart and I’m wondering how long he’ll take to adjust 😢

Sorry just reread your post.. it just breaks our hearts to see the bub cry in daycare… hang in there.. should get better in a couple of weeks. May be talk to the teachers about a plan like the previous poster suggested ..

Every kid is different for some it takes a week or two it’s a new environment and new people but trust he will start to adjust if not I would talk with the staff to work on a plan to help.
