Baby crying in car ride

Hi mamas! I’m sure we have all been there where our babies are crying inconsolably during a ride somewhere. I dread taking my 3month old and 2.5 yr old out it’s always a cry fest. On top of that he sweats out so much from all that crying. I’ve tried white noise and lullabies , nursery rhymes you name it to try and keep him calm. He won’t take the paci/ binky. When I have to go drop/pick up off my oldest to/from school or go run errands it just gives me anxiety. We just always have to pull over to calm down. Hoping that this phase gets better soon. Any tips would be great!

I’m in the same boat. I envy those whose babies fall asleep in the car haha, my girl is miserable and I also have to pull over to calm her from the hysteria. I’ve opened the back window a bit at times and it distracts her a little. And then I just breathe and try to stay calm and let go of anxiety, telling myself she’s safe but unhappy 🥴

I’ve seen other moms that were in the same boat and they ended up switching baby from infant seat to the convertible car seat and their baby doesn’t cry anymore. Not sure if that would help but maybe🤷🏻‍♀️

Have you seen the mom from TikTok who printed out a big picture of her face and taped it in front of the baby? Apparently it helped her a lot 😂💓🤞🏼

Maybe if you seat next to the car seat you baby can see you and be calm. I always go next to may baby and even when he get tired, I start to play with him and eventually get sleep. I do in that way because my baby is 3 months old and his car seat is rear facing so if I go in the front seat of the vehicle he can’t see me.
