he’s only on one nap a day by his choice aswell as he’s almost 14 months old so it’s not that he’s not tired he’s up for about 7 hours before bed x

My daughters the exact same. She’s 17 months, she goes to bed between 8/8:30. She very rarely sleeps through she tends to wake up at midnight and ends up in with me as she won’t settle on her own. Then she’s up at anytime between 5-5:15 it’s very rarely even sleeps til 6. She’s only on one nap a day too I can’t offer any help cause I’m struggling with it myself but good luck! I’m just hoping it’s a sleep regression because she used to be such a good sleeper x

@Eve you too thankfully my son stays in his cot until 4:30/5 but these early morning are not for me 🤣

@Jessica early wake ups usually means overtired by bedtime so they go down and sleep solidly then once the sleep pressure drops they struggle to stay asleep. A 7 hour gap is a lot at 14 months, I'd try bringing bedtime earlier (closer to 5.5/6 hours). For my daughter she only started doing that sort of gap after 2. What's the routine?

@Natalie he has breakfast at 7 then will be up till about milk and nap at 11 till 12 dinner at 1 then just playing till anout 3/4 when he has a snack then tea at 5:30/6 then bed 7

Id personally try to tweak the nap a bit later or bring bedtime forward (30 mins)

@Natalie okay thank you i’ll try it
