Screaming

Is screaming a sign of autism? My LO at 5months does this mostly when she’s tired or it’s too noisy and bright. She’s been doing it on and off for about a month or so …should I be worried? Does anyone else’s LO do it?

As they grow older if you notice limited eye contact and stimming, repetitive behaviours etc and limited language. I urge you to just work on that eg limited eye contact? Get in child’s eye sight. If they want something wait till they make eye contact then speak etc parrot words etc. I wouldn’t worry too much right now as 5 months is very young. It’s more at 1 years old to 1.5 you kind of notice little little things

But do babies scream at 5mo??

Screaming as in crying or randomly screaming?

Screaming as in crying?

No screaming as in screaming as in aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

What do we think ?

I wouldn’t be concerned no.

Thanks for the reassurance Emily x

Sounds like the screaching stage. Its normal and it does pass eventually.
