C section abs

I’m 5 months PP and have been doing more pilates core exercises. I did a workout 4 days ago and my abs right below belly button is still sore. Is this normal?

Might be too harsh on your body, may want to do a lighter exercise.

Do you have any suggestions on what exercises I can do to start building my core? My doctor suggested I focus on core exercises since breastfeeding/pregnancy gave me slight scoliosis

bridges, planks, dead bug. those are gentle ones. You could build up to doing pilates, because it’s are usually more intense. If you want to do pilates maybe do it just not as long for each set?
