Confusion and provera

Okay y'all so I'ma try to make this short but my midwife has me taking provera until April 29th with the main Dr . Wednesday I had like normal bleeding for what I thought was my period yet now yesterday and today I've had no bleeding but my midwife says to continue the provera since I started on Wednesday. My fear is that because we think/ thought it was my period that it could have been implantation bleeding? Do I continue the provera do I stop I don't know and my midwife just says keep taking it is just going to be weird

Provera causes withdrawal bleeds. My doc usually have me take a pregnancy test before starting provera. Also, if you have confirmed ovulation, then they more than likely wouldnt have had told you to start now. So its possible it could just be the withdrawal bleed that provera is known for

@Patrice she wouldn't confirm ovulation since I have PCOS and it caused late ovulation in my cycle.. another thing is I just started this provera and never had any issues with it before when taking it. And provera isn't for me to induce a period which is what it usually used for it to thin my Endometrium as mine is always thicker than normal. I have what's called endometrial hyperplasia.

Then i would say, call your clinic to get information about the next steps oh and possibly take a pregnancy test

@Patrice that's the thing she keeps telling me it's fine the bleeding will be weird just keep taking it and I definitely plan on taking one

@Breanna yeah because i had withdrawal bleeds while taking provera. Not all the time but it happened twice

@Patrice well she said it would be weird due to having to take it every day for over 3 months straight no stopping but she never said it would make my period stop after one day
