Postpartum Hair Loss

Losing a lot of hair, and thinning out around my edges and now I look like a cartoon villain/ pimp named Slick Back when it’s tied back. Any advice that’s actually helped is most welcome.

I use rosemary oil that’s pretty good, and hair strengthening shampoo and conditioner I also use. I wish I used it as soon as I had given birth to my youngest because then it wouldn’t of taken soo long, but now I’m doing it 1x a week with the rosemary oil and washing my hair 1x a week, my baby hairs are coming in and doing their sticking out business. Fun! But she’s 10 months old now, so hopefully the thickness comes back too!

I use hair skin and nails vitamins, haven’t had much hair loss, if anything my hairdresser has said my hair is growing and my better condition than before I was pregnant

I used hair and nail vitamins, I'd already lost my hair when I started them but they helped it grow back within a couple of months. I just got some cheap ones from home bargains cos I didn't believe they would work but they did

Biotin, find hair ties that don't pull on hair, all other supplements too for overall health. I used caffeinated revita shampoo (they have bunch of research to prove it works) and I rotate between that and a natural minimal shampoo. I also use argan oil prior washes x

Does anyone take the hair vitamins while breastfeeding? (I really need to start doing something about my hair loss, but just don’t know if you can take them while breastfeeding🫠)

@Felicia I took mine while breastfeeding, everything was ok

@Zoey oh wicked! Thanks!
