Valentine’s Day ❤️

Would you be upset or offended if your partner doesn’t bother with Valentine’s Day? We’ve been together for 8 years this year and he’s only ever bothered with Valentine’s Day once or twice. I do get a bit upset over it but I just don’t feel he’s romantic enough to bother with that. I don’t get the point in this post but I just don’t know how to feel.

Nope! We never bother 😅

Nope we have been together 5 years and don't bother. It's money making rubbish and we appreciate each other regardless

We had this conversation last night, and I’ve said not to bother. It’s so commercialised now.

We've never bothered in the whole 8 years we've been together

We’ve been together 14 years and never really bothered with it. We might have a nice meal but that’s it and it’s never been a problem ☺️

I’m glad there’s more people who don’t bother with it. It has made me upset originally but I think it’s just because those around me do it all etc. He’s not romantic anyway but we love & appreciate each other x

My partner doesn't bother with this either. It used to bother me but it doesn't now. If he shows you at other times of the year then it's just another day

Nope. Card is nice. Not fussed about anything else. Personal dates/occasions are more important IMO (and he’s still dreadful with those 😂)

We do a card and thats about it. We both feel like we get each other little gifts throughout the year and we both do things to show each other we appreciate and love each other throughout the whole year too. We personally feel like it’s forced if it’s for a specific day that we feel like we ‘have’ to because the shops are selling stuff. Completely understand if people don’t really get the time together and want to make a big deal though also. You do you, if you want to make more of an effort this year then you can always ask or suggest you do something a little more romantic this year xx

Nope

No because its commercialised crap 😅
