How do I pray for my child?

I have a daughter, age 4. I’m religious but her father isn’t fully there yet. He wasn’t raised in the Word like I was and he tends to do things like curse, be verbally homophobic, or call ppl “demons” when playing video games. I’m in the process of leaving him because his parenting style doesn’t promote positivity and he’s just immature. My daughter acts just like him. Apparently he was a bad kid. He threw chairs at teachers, started cursing at the age of 3, was stealing, talking shit about random ppl, etc. That’s unfortunately how he was raised. I have been trying to instill faith into my daughter and I’ve spent hours crying because I also have a son due in 3 weeks and I want him to be nothing like his father. With my daughter, I failed to pray for her while I was pregnant and I regret that so much. I’ve been praying for my son and my daughter more but I just don’t know what to do. She started saying “ima beat your ass” because she’s heard her father say it. And yea I’ve said it once or twice but I have since limited the amount of times that I do say it. She also has done things like ripping paint off of doors and walls in the house, throwing things to break them, putting full tp rolls on the toilet, she expresses her anger thru her words, etc. I need advice 😣

Oh my. I don't really know what to respond. I can't imagine how this feels for you. But all I can say is, praying for kids with scriptural verses really helps. Probably look for verses that specifically talks about the type of behaviour you are praying for and use that to pray for them. Don't know if I am even explaining it as it is in my head. 😔 I will also keep your family in my prayers 🙏🙏

There is power in the name of Jesus and the blood of Jesus! i would plead the Blood of Jesus over her, rebuke the plans of the enemy for her life, shield and cover her in God’s love and protection, put the armor of God on her (ephesians 6:11). demons are real and it sounds like the door was opened (through his rage, cursing, sin) giving the devil access to your family and you have to fight to close those doors. Look into spiritual warfare sermons on youtube and deepen your relationship with God as well because it’s so important that we are equipped because it’s truly a war! i wouldn’t leave him yet until you seriously start praying for him. praying for you guys and praise God for you wanting to fight for your babies and pray for them! my dms are always open if you need prayer or have questions!

Ask the Holy Spirit to take control over both father & child’s life. Its easier to judge someone not being a good parent or feeling like you being religious makes you a better parent but christianity starts in the heart. If we lead a good example others can follow
