Sore belly?

I'm 25 weeks and just been very sore around the belly. I feel it most when I sit down or get up and sometimes when I walk. Just wondering if it's round ligament pain or my body feeling battered from all the kicking? It's definitely not cramps or anything like that. It almost feels like soreness after an intense day of a core workout.

I’m just about 25 weeks too and I feel it girl! It’s usually at the end of the day, just tightness in the belly for me. I think it depends on what I’m eating. If it’s inflammatory or too much I definitely feel super tight 🥴 so uncomfortable

24 weeks and I’ve been having soreness around the round ligaments and my lower back for about 8 weeks, I got put into physical therapy for this. I also had Braxton hicks for the first time last night for two hours; my midwife said that it can start as early as 12 weeks and can present as soreness or cramps or pelvic pressure or back pain/pressure depending on the person! She suggested a warm shower or a warm bath or a heat pack and staying extra hydrated

@Madeline I keep telling myself I'll be comfortable again someday!!! I definitely notice a difference when it comes to foods I eat too but I have gestational diabetes so I'm on such a restricted diet it's getting hard to navigate.

@Nicole I thought i should avoid baths in general. Did she suggest a certain temperature? 🤔

Oh yeah you probably have a healthier diet to begin with, I keep telling myself the same thing. A couple more months of this and I’ll be comfortable again!! Baths do help for me too! I take decently hot baths, my midwife said it’s okay, I usually go soak in a pregnancy lavender Epson salt for 15 min a few times a week

I’ve realized it’s from slightly sleeping on my stomach in my sleep so luckily for our anniversary my hubby bought me a mom cozy pregnancy pillow and I have seen a drastic change in my soreness cuz I can’t accidentally roll to far
