Baby was born in the afternoon, my catheter was removed the following morning, walked two hours after to the loo xx
Had my baby at 10:10am, about an hour after getting back to the ward I asked them to take it out so I could walk down to have a shower, so about 3 hours after her birth. I metabolise local anesthesia really quickly so it had already worn off. Because of this I had both a spinal injection and an epidural.
They removed mine 10 hours after because I was too dizzy to walk the first time after 6 hours.
I was up and walking as soon as I had sensation back after both my c sections. Both times was about 3-4 hours after birth. I was told I had to wait 12 hours from delivery to have my catheter out. Babies born in the morning and catheter out that evening.
I had my baby at 8am and was in a private room from 10am. Catheter was removed early evening, and I walked to do my 200mls pee at 11pm. I was then discharge 5pm the following day.
Baby born via C Section at 6.30pm. I tried to get up and walk around midnight but I couldn’t, so I didn’t walk until the next day. Catheter came out about lunch time the next day, but I did have some issues overnight with it.
