Tip toe walking

My daughter has recently started walking on her toes. I know it can be normal but it has totally come out of nowhere, she’s been walking since she was around 13 months old and not had a or up until now. How do I go around this? I’ve just been reminding her calmly about heel first ect but it seems to be getting more apparent every day. Any tips or advice please 🤯

Not sure if there are any tips or advice, My son does this too but I think it’s because it feels different for them and they find it fun! X

My daughter does it on/off throughout the day, I only remind her not to if we’re outside and she’s in shoes in case she trips. Otherwise I let her do it, must be fun 🤷‍♀️ I’m sure she’ll grow out of it.

@Charlotte @Hannah This is exactly what I thought initially but her grandparents keep telling us to nip it in the bud now🤦‍♀️

@Gabs from what I looked up when my daughter started doing it, it’s very normal, and they usually grow out of it but it can take 6 months or so. She can and has been walking ‘normally’ for months and she doesn’t do it every single time she’s walking. I’d politely let them know that it’s normal and that if you have any concerns you’ll address them as and when needed! If anything constantly reminding them to walk ‘flat’ is just going to draw attention to it and make them do it even more!

@Gabs her grqndpan3ed to chill how the f do they think you can nip this in the bud. My oldest toe walked loads and she was walking from 11 months, she did it mostly when barefoot around the house. It is and can be completely normal. I have second hand anger that grandparents are even giving you cause for concern over this tbh. My oldest is 3 now and pretty much grown out of tip toeing.

My son does this all the time randomly, usually when he's just playing around the house x

My boy does this on/off but he is delayed in speech
