I'd count it!! So sweet!
My girl's first word was bubble 🥹 technically it was mama/dada/etc. but ignoring those, it was bubble lol. She demands more bubbles in the bath 🙃 signs "more" and shouts BUBBLE and points at the dwindling bubbles.
@Allison awww my boy is soo close to saying bubble too!! he really wants to but he’s also more interested in ball now haha but i’m not positive that he knows what a bubble is which is why im hesitant to count that yet either
@Allison i don’t know why i didn’t think about bubbles in the bath though that’s a great idea to teach him!

I'd consider it definitely a first word!
My sons first babbled word was "eben" or also known as yelling for for his uncle Kevin lol and mem mem for his memere. His first real word not name was "that". Now he points at everything and says that! And wants it named lol

Hehe my baby girl's first word was ball too! We made such a big deal of it i think she thinks balls are way more important than they are now 😅 she said it like 100 times a day the following weeks and now like 20 times a day lol
