Yes since my second child was born I've developed gallstones! The pain is absolutely horrendous when it hits. Paracetamol, ibuprofen and codeine and a hot water bottle help slightly, other than that you just have to wait for it to pass 😭 if it's completely unbearable then it's a trip to hospital! I'm on a waiting list now to have my gallbladder removed but in the meantime I'm doing my best to manage it by sticking to a low fat, high fibre diet.

@Emily I’m not even on a waiting list yet 😢

Codeine and paracetamol, I was on the list but got pregnant again so they took me off and now I have re refer myself again, it’s horrible pain but I just try and distract myself and just hope it goes away xx

Keep an eye on your symptoms and know when to go to the ER. My pain was unbearable for a few weeks and my mom took me to the ER because my skin & eyes had started turning yellow. I had gallstones and one ended up blocking a tube (can’t remember what it was called) I was immediately admitted to the hospital and had to have 2 procedures done.

The pain has now finally stopped so I get to have a couple hours (maybe) before the baby needs feeding 🥲 I’m in the process of getting it all officially diagnosed by the doctor now that a scan has picked them up and I have strong pain relief (tramadol), but I am very stubborn and haven’t taken them yet as I don’t want it passed on to baby as I’m breastfeeding and she was born early. She’s also cosleeping in my bed as she won’t sleep anywhere else and I need my sleep to survive looking after her and a toddler all day, all week

@Kelsey I was rocking myself on the floor for hours with a hot water bottle 💚 I hope yours doesn’t bother you too much

I find myself doing that aswell and luckily haven’t been any problems for a while, I hope yours get sorted it’s a horrible thing to have x

Nothing helped my pain, I just remember screaming until it stopped. The only thing that helped was having it removed😢
