Valentine's disappointment
Anyone else have a really shit valentine's Day? I got my partner a card, 5 gifts, booked the cinema, cooked a steak dinner and paid for food tonight yet all I got was a card? Not even a little "I appreciate you" just your run of the mill 75p card from the corner shop and he's wondering why I'm so pissed off 🤔

@Emmo we normally do, hence why I made such an effort but to get nothing in return feels like a kick in the teeth
I think you need to make your expectations clear if you haven’t already. I’ve said that my birthday and Xmas I expect him to think of me and make an effort. Other than that as long as he’s a good partner and is kind and caring I don’t mind. I got a last minute card and chocolates that I don’t even like 😅 but he’s an amazing dad and does other things for me so I let it slide as I’m used to it now 🤣
