Hair loss

I believe hair loss is common after giving birth. Any advice on remedies?

I lost so much hair around 4 months postpartum , continue to take your prenatals! And I take biotin every day too! I also made Rosemary water and would spray it in my roots daily! That helped a lot!

I lost quite a lot of hair and never found anything that really worked to stop it other than time. Baby hairs are out in full force now that my LO is 10 months 😂

Wait patiently for your hormones to return to homeostasis (18 months) and get a cut that complements the hair loss.

Years after I had my daughter I was still losing hair. I started wearing a satin bonnet to sleep. Helped so much. My hair stopped falling out. Hair is still thin but at least I don’t lose anymore.

I was told to continue taking your prenatals.

I took a herbal supplement - shativari I think it’s spelt - it stopped very quickly and is good for breastfeeding too

Keep taking prenatals, check your vitamin levels and see if you may need to take parto al vitamins like D, C, or magnesium etc

To understand the whole picture.. your pregnancy hormones cause you to not shed like normal while pregnant.. then during PP, you drop all of it during a short time; then it all starts growing in also at the same about time. I have super long hair and call them my "mom layers" 😂🫣 it'll be a few months (years) before it's all worked out.. there's not really anything to change it (maybe help a tiny bit) so don't waste your money on "remedy" products.. just continue with your prenatal vitamins ❤️
