Transverse baby position

Hi I am pregnant with our second and she’s currently laying sideways / transverse at 32 weeks. Our first was head down from 28 weeks. I’m trying to be prepared, did you baby turn on its own and when ? did you have an ECV did that work? I’m worried I will be booked in for a C-section and mentally prepare for that and then move on there own.

They’ve all the time. I was told my first had turned around and was breach at 36weeks and if she was still like this at 38 then I would be booked for a c section but she had turned back around by then. You really can’t plan anything about the birth as it depends how it plays it when you go into labour. Try not to stress as it’s not something you can control x

My baby was breech and i was offered ECV it wasn't successful, tried twice at the time i was worried and really wanted a natural birth so had the ECV but it was soo painful and after it my belly felt bruised i couldnt even do anything for 48 hrs it felt like someone beat me up. I would never put myself through that again. In the end I had a c section, looking back now i dont know why i was so worried about stressing about a C section. Its something that was meant to happen and out of my control. So either way as long as you're well and baby is ok it doesnt matter. I was told about a website called spinning babies that has some exercises that you can try to help baby move.

My first was transverse at 34 weeks and I followed the “Spinning Babies” exercises. Baby rotated and came vaginally before the scheduled C-section.
