Lactose intolerant??

Are there any other mama's having this issue with milk??? I want to eat cereal, and it just hurts to.

I used to be able to tolerate milk but ever since I switched to almond milk anytime I try to drink dairy milk my stomach cramps so bad. I recommend a plant based milk. There’s many options (almond, soy, cashew, oat) but it’s honestly all about preference as they all have different thicknesses/consistencies and tastes. You can also try fairlife milk. They filter out the lactose so you should be able to tolerate that brand. Best of luck.

@Alexis I've tried almond, fairlife, and oat milk. Used to like the oat milk one and the fair life one tastes so different 🤣😂

@Bethany I agree. It’s such a trial and error. I love almond milk but there’s certain brands I will absolutely avoid because they have that “chalky tasty”. I would maybe try soy milk I feel like the taste is the closest to dairy as opposed to the other options.

Definitely became more lactose intolerant during the pregnancy. Definitely recommend the nut milk alternatives. Oat is closest to the real thing for me.

I use A2 milk. I’m lactose and tolerant and actually don’t even like the taste of milk but A2, for cereal is good in my opinion

I came to recommend fairlife or I love the most the simple truth (Kroger) lactose free. Not sure if you’re a whole milk girlie but I am and I think both are delicious!

@Mikayla I used to be but after the pain I was in alllllll night with whole milk. That was awful 😖

Yep.. milk is starting to make my stomach cramp bad! I’m 28weeks now.

Almond milk

Or lactaid pill

@Amy I haven't tried those pills yet. I forgot about them 😅

I don’t think lactate pills r pregnancy safe

@Azzy ill ask my ob when they open.
