If it's pasta sauce in a jar what I do is pour it in and then put the lid back on and leave it sit upside down for a few minutes. Usually I can get most of what's left that way.

Same unless the recipe calls for adding a little of the water that cooked the pasta then I save a little in the jars to add back. But it’s “seasoned” 😂
