Need some help! I am 28 weeks First time momma and almost got everything just a few last little bits I am planning on breast feeding if all goes well (not putting to much pressure on my self if it fails) But was thinking is it worth -1 ) buying breast pump if it doesn’t go to plan -2) is it worth buying 1 or 2 pumps ? -3) which one as some are so expensive 🫠 Thank you in advance 🩷

Wouldn't buy one yet like in case you don't need it! I'm 3 months and only pump first thing in the morning to relieve myself on days baby hasn't woken up yet, or the odd occasion I'll miss a feed if I'm out 🙂 only started using it in the last few weeks though! As for the pump I use momcozy M9 wearables (I got 2 as a double set when they were on sale), I liked the wearable aspect and having two meant I can do both sides at the same time so it's quicker, it does work for me but they sometimes struggle with stock for spare parts x

I heard Mandela are good and hospital grade. One should be enough unless u having twins - this is what mamas and papas rep suggested. Wired one is £119. Or Elvir is more high tech. Stride model with remote £169 and Pump is wireless, £269 includes app to monitor. But best to wait like Rachel suggests. They have them stocked up in the shops

If you can borrow off a friend and try before you buy once baby is here I'd do that! I got an elvie in bra, and it doesn't drain me and I've regretted it for 9 months 😅 they ain't cheap! I would recommend a haaka or equivalent and a hand pump one such as medela. Deffs recommend a second hand pump as well, I did and so much cheaper!
