First night in her own room 😭💔

Currently sat downstairs crying while my partner puts our little girl to bed in her own room for the first time. She’s 10 months old today and we’ve never slept apart 💔 I’m still waking up through the night to check she’s breathing so I’ve got no idea how I’m going to cope with this 😭 I know we need to do it but it just feels so hard!

Aww you got this mama ❤️ my baby is 10 months today too 🥹

I’d cry at night last year thinking how can I not be in a room with her BUTTTTTTTTTT not going to lie - these 12 hour sleeps she’s been doing in her own room give me other feels 🙌🏼

I was the same about 2 weeks ago! It's been a blessing since, she's had more sleep through since being in her room than when she was in my room, if anything she'll wake up once and will sleep 7 - 7 🙏 I was crying the first night and would watch her constantly in the baby monitor but I see now that it was the best thing I did! Keep strong mumma you got this🫶🤞

It definitely gets easier! My little girl went into her own room at around 4/5months and I was a nervous wreck and I was awake more then she ever was but it does get easier as time goes on even though it feels like it doesn’t xx

How did you get on ??

Apart from it being the worst night sleep I’ve had for a long time 🫣 it went really well! I missed having her here so much but know it needed to be done! She went down at around 7.30 and slept until 7.10 with only a few little grumbles that she sorted herself out with through the night. We’re very lucky that she’s pretty much slept through from 16 weeks so moving her wasn’t for that reason, it was more getting ready for when I go back to work in May as I’ll be getting up at 5.30 and so that her dad could stop sleeping on the sofa 🫣

@Jade you all bossed it - well done 🙌🏼
