Toddler aggression

My last kiddo I did not have this problem, but this 18 month old I have now is the sweetest thing one minute and the next will throw hands, bite, pull hair and everything he thinks is hilarious. I calmly say no when I get past the initial pain/shock as I am trying to gentle parent. This child is not gentle. I am glad he feels safe pushing boundaries with me as I know that’s what this age does, but I cannot express how much I am tired of the scratches, bumps and bruises. What helped you mommas with your littles?

If it makes you feel better my 18 month old does the same😅 I just do the best I can a redirecting and hope she’ll grow out of it!

My 18 month old is doing the same thing. 🤦🏽‍♀️ I have been working on identifying his feelings and being nice. I let him know that his actions are hurting mommy and I give him an example of how he should treat me and praise him for it. I make him touch me gently and keep him preoccupied with toys to redirect him. So far it’s been working 🥰🥰 hope this helps 😅

They are all different. You have one with big personality right now. It will get better, just self regulation. Teaching him to breath..
