Fetal growth restriction

At my 36 week appointment fundal height randomly fell far behind so they got formal growth scan and was diagnosed growth restricted. Also breech they said likely won’t have room to flip but scheduled an ECV, said likely will be a c section. I’m small so they think maybe that’s why.. I was planning to go all natural and now I’m pretty bummed. Any positive stories of breech FGR babies flipping and not being low birth weight?

Try getting in your hands and elevating your lower half to try to get baby to turn

Also they sum times get it wrong and say the baby is small or big and the baby is just fine

I’m in same boat for growth restriction with you :/ was planning natural and he was pretty big and now all of a sudden smaller -they think just because I’m smaller. just trying to adapt but also emotionally accept being induced or C-section. (I believe if I can accept it emotionally my body will have an easier time/recover faster) easier said than done though! for the breech position you could try looking up videos of “spinning babies” positions online

I’ve been doing spinning babies since 20 something weeks ago:/ they think due to her space restrictions she’s not gonna be able to flip but I’m gonna keep trying. How small is he measuring?

At 34 weeks (last week) he was in 9th percentile overall average of all body parts-normal size leg bone, other parts, brain & head, but for some reason his stomach dropped to 1% percentile (by their measurements) Fluid & heart have been normal too- checking cord dopplar again at our 35 week appt in a couple hours appt this morning…

Keep trying the spinning for sure! A few moms I’ve talked to in birth classes who were breech all flipped last minute during early labor! What about yours what percent label did they give you?

@Stephanie 6th percentile at 36 weeks
