Bottle prep at night!

My six month old little boy has been so good sleeping through but has just started waking up early 3-4am…initially I assumed teething pain but this week it’s become clear he wants feeding. He’s just started weaning (3 weeks in) porridge, sweet potato mash etc and is doing great. But he gets so tired in the evenings (awful napper!) that he refuses his evening bottle (6ish). I’d love to have a bottle by our side (he’s in a next to me cot, proper crib coming soon) but all formula recommendations suggest it can’t be at room temperature for more than two hours before it has to be disposed of. Has anybody pre made bottles before bed? Have you just refrigerated them then grabbed them when needed? I’m trying to avoid making kitchen noise as it wakes my husband (and dog!)

You could buy the pre made formula bottles to keep by your bed.. expensive but easiest option. Or pre make and warm up. I have a Tommee tippee machine so use that xxx

I have a hot water bottle and formula container by our bed

The nuby rapid cool and a flask !

Our son has been the same. He’s in his own room now but since weaning he’s refusing last bottle of the night and then waking up once in the night. We use the Nuby rapid cooler flask

You could look at the pre-made formal if it’s just for 1/2 feeds, I think it’s like £1.20 for 250mls. We feed our baby on the pre-made bottles entirely. She drinks the whole one in one feed now, but back when she was having smaller amounts we just had a mini fridge, that we’d put the left over she wasn’t drinking which can be stored for another feed with in 24 hours before it’s ‘waste’
