We also had this problem till I find this Swedish brand. It might be a bit pricey but it’s perfect. I bought wooden secondhand cot and was using sleep carrier during the day. It’s so easy. I could take my little one everywhere while he was asleep and when we were visiting. Check it out. https://najell.com/en-gb/p/najell-babynest-sleepcarrier-x-oat-beige?country=gb&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=p-uk-performance.max&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI8KGpisnXiwMVm4NQBh3z6C5BEAQYASABEgKE0vD_BwE
We had the joie kubbie travel cot at my mum’s and it was great, although I think it’s about the size of a bedside crib so maybe too big? But it has a drop side and a newborn bassinet insert so can be used from birth but also for older babies. Folds up relatively small and comes with a bag to transport it in. Not too pricey either x
Cozee next to me. Used for 2 of mine now and I loved it
We just used a simple moses basket. She was in it until 6 months.
