Agree with the previous poster, but you know best as mummy! Have you ruled out any red flags for health issues? Then if no potential health issues, what’s sleep schedule like in a 24 hour period, from wake up, nap time and nap length to bedtime. Is there enough sleep pressure at bedtime?
I would advise not to try if you are just going to end up co sleeping. If you do that you are building up his resistance in crying as he will learn that he just needs to keep crying in order to get out of the bed. Worst thing to do because it will make the training harder in the future.
Way too young to sleep train. Also could be teething early.
When we did it, every check in time gradually got longer. Have you looked up the chart for Ferber sleep training? E.g would be 1-2 min, then 3-5, etc.
Go in every 10 min to check. He won’t settle on his own in 1-2 min. That’s too soon !
Sleep training is usually not advised until 6 months at the earliest, even amongst those who support it. It could be that your little one just isn't old enough to self-settle yet.
