Pregnancy supplements

NHS people say taking folic acid and vitamin D is enough. But, I would like to be on a safe side and take a prenatal vitamin. Please recommend what brand to buy? Did someone (eg midwife) advise you or was it your own decision to take them? Thanks for any info 🥰🫶

Just be careful because some of the prenatals already have folic acid in (I am taking a high dose of folic acid with vitamin D so can’t take anything else)

I get the Inessa pregnancy multivitamins - they pretty much have everything we need

I am taking the Pregnacare (all through pregnancy) vitamins based on doctors recc xx

I take boots own prenatal vitamins that include vitamin D and folic acid

I am a pharmacist, don’t waste your money. I am taking vitamin D and folic acid. A good diet should be sufficient. Get the cheap vitamins at that valupak range. Save the money on expensive vitamins for baby grows.

I take pregnacare and folic acid and vitamin D in addition. I already took both to start with as I was deficient so when I got the positive I added the pregnacare to 'top up'. I also take COQ-10 as I used this during IVF years ago and it is apparently brilliant for baby.
